At the start of this project mainly individual stories were gathered from the internet by the research team. 

As happens often in history: more people have a similar idea at the same time. Trying to find names, pictures and stories of the victims of the genocide is something that more people came up with. So with time passing we found several sources with multiple stories. We will try to gather them all on this page and where needed translate them into English.

Notes:

• They Have Names, They Had dreams commemorates victims of the genocide starting at October 7, 2023, acknoleging there have been many victims before this date. 
• The victims include mainly people killed in Gaza but also in the West Bank.
• Some of the stories come from personal contacts or people working on the project, who had friends and/or family killed.
